We’re both big fans of coffee and so Aiden had a vision of us on treks, in South America a place so famous for it’s coffee, with views of mountains drinking freshly made locally grown coffee. I mocked him a bit for carrying an aeropress, hand grinder and jetboil since we planned to travel light. But I have to admit it’s not long into our trip and I already view them as vital, we’ve had some amazing coffee with some great views. Here’s a selection of aeropress and jetboils adventures –
Highest Coffee made – 4450m at Lake Churup
Best View – has to be Machu Picchu as we’d snuck the aeropress in and it’s so iconic
Highest Coffee – Iliniza Norte – 5125m
Best View – Got to be Iliniza Norte as well, over looking Cotopaxi which was peeking out over the clouds.
We’re wondering if anyone else is travelling with an aeropress, we love ours and would love to see others peoples pictures of their aeropress adventures.
